Anyone with 24th October 2013 application date care to share their experince on the timelines?

Eligibility criteria: British Citizen Spouse + 2 yrs ILR
Method of application: Nationality Checking Service (NCS) Swindon
Date of Application: 24/10/2013
Date of receipt by UKBA: 25/10/2013
Date of debit of fees: 18th December 2013
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: Waiting
Date of receipt of approval: waiting
Date of Ceremony: waiting

If I'm not wrong, I think I've sighted 1 or 2 approvals for 24/10 but none for application received by the HO on 25/10.

Yes am one of the approvals for the 24/10. I sent mines on the 23/10 and HO received it on the 24/10 and I got the approval 11/1/14
dated 8/1/14. I wonder who is the other one because I cant find it

I'm the other one! My application was sent on 23/10 received by HO on 24/10, acknowledged on 13/12, approved on 10/01 and ceremony on 05/02.

My husband's application has been approved, his timeline is as follows:

eligibility criteria: 10 years long residence & 1 yr ILR
Date application sent: 14 October 2013 (Self - no NCS)
Received: 15 October 2013
Fee debited: 9 November 2013
Acknowledgement letter: 11 November 2013
Application Approved: dated 16 January 2014, received 17 January 2014
Ceremony date: awaiting letter

PS - I could not edit previous posts but got these dates roughly from the top of my head, only debit of fees or acknowledgement letter might differ slightly by a day or so.

Again the general assumption is to wait for them to contact you and then take it from there, expect your acknowledgement which should come through within the next few days, then call on any number provided on the letter quoting your reference number, this I think is neater......my thought, lets hope Amber picks this up..Amber, whats your thought wrt underpayment, HO error?

I kind of have the feeling its going to happen today, watch out for it in you ac. I won't worry too much about it at this stage.

I suppose your case provides some reassurance that i should not be worried since i applied on 29/11/13 and was received on 02/12/13, heard nothing till date and the account unusually healthy!

My bank told me that a payment of £874 is approved on 20-01-2014. Home office has not yet claimed it. My available balance dropped by £874

Hurray!! I thank God at last I received my approval in the post today. After exactly 6 months!!

My timelines are:
Eligibility: 5 years HSMP, 1 year and 8 months ILR
Application date: 13 July 2013
Application received by UKBA: 15 July 2013
Acknowledgement and debit fees: 17 July 2013
Approval: received 16 January 2014, dated 8 January 2014
Ceremony: will contact local authority for date

I applied on 24th of October and the docs were received by UKBA on 26th of October.
The fees were debited on 7th of Jan, the aknowledgement letter came a couple of days later.
My case is straightforward (Spouse of BC + ILR).
