Are you Fackiiiiiing serious. What's taking them so long. Have you phoned and emailed them?

I contacted them so many times personally and through MP as well. Everytime I get a usual answer that application is still under process and there is no maximum time limit to make the decision.

I applied on 24th of October and the docs were received by UKBA on 26th of October.
The fees were debited on 7th of Jan, the aknowledgement letter came a couple of days later.
My case is straightforward (Spouse of BC + ILR).

by looking at previous cases it seems aproval is taking 4 weeks on average from date of debiting the fees. this is for straight forward cases

For ESOL have used IELTS from 2003, hope it will be fine. NCS said it will be OK.

If you have your degree taught in English available on Tier 1 G points calculator showing 10 points or it is so verified by UK NARIC it never expires and it is equal to C1. Therefore I rather used it as 100% in spite of my IELTS, yes you had passed IELTS ( above required B1) and have been living in the UK since then but to me it could still be in the grey area as the document used itself has an expiry date of 2 years given in it, a document speaks for itself.
