Eligibility: Form UKM (Citizenship through heritage; Mother is UK citizen)
Method of application: Reading NCS
Date of Application: 8/10/13
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 18/10/13 -- This was via e-mail. Looks like most get their via post, but I live in Germany.
Date of debit: 17/10/13
Date of receipt of approval: Waiting
Date of ceremony: TBD

I have seen almost no Form UKM's on this board, so have no idea if it will take longer than necessary. It's a very simple application, so shouldn't take long, but we'll see.......

my application paper date was 26/10 but i send it on the 29/10 and been received by the home office on the 30/10

I don't know if they submitted it as 26oct or 30oct
and Finally just now my account show that there 874£ been debit i think that is good news for every one

If the UKBA letter says fees paid in full -it means precisely that.

Give it a month for confirmation of successful application if there is no further queries. My experience is that it usaually takes a month from acknowledging receipt of application and granting it.

Thanks Roh!! Yes, fees paid in full meant that they had taken the money!!. I hadn't noticed that I had authorised payment from a different credit card and I was shocked when that bill came up more than the expected amount!! I was so into tracking the payment elsewhere...it's like losing something in the dark and searching it somewhere else because there is light there..(street light effect!!).. )

Hi all,
I've just seen a letter dated 19th December 2013 acknowledging receipt of application and fee receipt. However, my bank card doesnt show any pending transaction!! Anyway, it seems that there has been some progress...hopefully will see the sign of approval soon..

No signs of approval yet...has anyone who submitted on the 24th October heard from the HO regarding their approval?? I had my fees deducted but no signs of approval and I am hoping that they will send the original documents before end of this month as I am away after that and it'll take a while to get the ceremony booked etc.,
if anyone else has received the approval please keep us posted here so that we can have some sign of hope that ours is on the way..
