I have 46 November applications in my spreadsheet and not a single one has had fees taken yet. The HO is for the moment still immersed in the Oct 21-26 week. A lot of people from Oct 25th haven't had their fees taken yet either.

Interesting Note:

I sent an email to nationalityprogress@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk on 13th December 2013 at 6PM. I have got response back from them 16th December with the standard message "No Decision Made"

- Its been 6.5 weeks now and i have not received an acknowledgement yet?
- On the ukba website they say in busy times it can take up to 4 weeks? Is it normal for acknowledgment to take very much longer than 4 weeks?
- Is there a number of email i can use to find out the status and if there is a problem or do i just play the waiting game?

I need help to understand what the HO said to me. My money was deducted from my bank account on 30/10/2013. However, when I called HO yesterday to see the progress on my application they it the last update they have is that the last update they had was on 14/12 and states money deducted!!!! How come 6 weeks after the money has actually been deducted

I don't think that's unusual. They normally deal with applications within 6 months. Many of them get processed sooner than that but some people have to wait for 6 months exactly even more. I don't think you should be worried, you haven't waited for that long
