Well not exactly mistake as that's what this forum is all about to get knowledge from experiences of others. If you need your passport and don't want to use NCS you can send notarized copy of your passport which is acceptable alsozeevirgo wrote:Ceremony fee is inclusive and yes you made mistake by not using NCS as by NCS you don't need to send originals now who knows how long they are going to take for approval could take upto 6 months as in my case.........
Good Luck

Date of receipt by UKBA: 16/10/2013
Date of debit of fees: 11/11/2013
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 12/11/2013 (dated:10/11/2013)
Date of receipt of approval: TBC
Date of Ceremony: TBC
Received my acknowledgement letter this morning, and it says under the "our ref:" section "Type of application - AN6(1) + Ceremony". They charged me £874, is the ceremony fee included in that amount or they will charge me £80 afterwards. If the ceremony fee is included in that amount does that mean my application was successful???
I'm over excited and stressed out as i have a holiday booked for december (booked it with friends couple of months ago) and without thinking i had to send my travel documents off to UKBA because of the October language requirement changes.
Many thanks to the people on this forum, your posts have been very helpful for me this time and even last time when i applied for permanent residence. Family thinks i've done a big mistake applying without NCS or solicitor but i believe in you guys!! thank you all![]()

Just noticed payment deduction from the account today, seems like the staff is working weekends to clear the backlog. It's not very often you are glad that your account is debited.
Sorry I submitted my application on 18/09
Is it worth calling the Croydon office to get to know the decision?

I notice a deduction in my bank balance today, I am assuming that HO has taken payment, as it is the sum of £874, I had applied on 16/10/2013.
