DID NOT GO TO COURT, given on the spot fine. Was quite concerned about that as driving whilst using a phone is not considered a 'minor offence'. However I did mention it in the additional information section and driving licence/counterpart sent

When I called to town hall to book an appointment for citizenship ceremony, they said they don't have my details with them and I need to call them after 3-4days.

Yes, me and Alish60 are in a similar situation. Did the council ring ukba to get you an update. They should be able to get information from HO.

The approval letter INSTRUCTS you to contact the council (contact details provided in the letter) within 21 days of the date shown on the letter. I'm calling the council as soon as they open this morning!

I looked up on Islington council website and they were stating that they will send out a questionnaire by post with 3 available dates for the ceremony- that's why I was a bit confused whether I need to wait for their letter or just call them.
