I knew my local council is very busy so I clearly mentioned another council name for my cerenmony to be held in my AN form and guess what my local council sent me a letter with the ceremony 2 months away. Now I have to waste another 75 pounds to bring the date closer.

It is us who checks every single guide, field etc before applying and what we get in return is a useless overcharged delayed service.

Hi,

In the email confirming receipt of our application the following paragraph was included:

"If you require further information please refer to our website, www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk, in the first instance. If you have difficulty locating the information that you require you can email ukbanationalityenquiries@ukba.gsi.gov.uk and you will receive an email giving links to the answers to most frequently asked questions and how to obtain further information if necessary".

So I think you could potentially send enquiry to the indicated email address, but I doubt if you would be given any update, anyway you always can try.

Honestly, I would not worry much about acknowledgement really, the most important whether fees were debited from your account or not.
Thanks.
This is reply I got from the above emial address : Confirming receipt of applications
"It is currently taking 6 weeks to acknowledge all applications.
If you sent your application by Recorded or Special Delivery, its receipt can be confirmed on the Royal Mail website at: Royal Mail " :(

Yet today is the 27 of March and no fees have been debited.
I am a little concerned as from what I can see most people get the fees debited in 7 days or less.

Did this happen to anyone else, and do you think I might have to wait longer or they've misplaced my application?

Thanks
I applied on the same day, the fee has been debited on 28th Mar.
Me too, It appeared in my bank statement until today, but it says date of transaction on the 26th. I am just hoping they do not take forever.
