I applied on the 13th and they tried to debit fees on 21st of March, however they entered in wrong card details and the transaction was declined.
Check with your bank, as UKBA are useless at entering in card details... So it seems!

R&F wrote:Hi, I applied via NCS Bracknell on the 15th of March, I believe it got to HO by the 18th according to NCS.
Yet today is the 27 of March and no fees have been debited.
I am a little concerned as from what I can see most people get the fees debited in 7 days or less.
Did this happen to anyone else, and do you think I might have to wait longer or they've misplaced my application?
Thanks
I have also applied on 12-MAR and just got ack letter:fearless2711 wrote:Hi any one here applied on or around 12 March. I have applied on 12 march , fee was taken on 19 march but no acknowledgement letter. any suggestions should contact UKBA or keep waiting.

You shouldn't get worried, all of us are holding permanent residency in hand. A permanent residency can only be revoked if the holder commivery serious offence otherwise it is going to be valid. So keep hope and calm. some officers are a.. holes, this is why some of us are waiting longer.atukflrn wrote:Not sure why they have suddenly done that. This might slow the pace of approvals further down.
Probably because EEA aplicants don't require a prior formal application for permanent residence. Both conditions for the permanent residence and naturalisation need to be checked. That is the best explanation I could come up with, I am in the same situation.canyoudoitagain wrote:Eligibility criteria: EEA National

Can't help noticing that processing EEA applications seem to be taking longer than others. Any idea why?
I have had some problems with the NCS; they didn’t post my application out until I phoned and since then they seem to have no record of my appointment at all. In some cases the UK Border Agency requests Citizenship ceremony appointment from the council directly - could this be the reason for the delay?
I know it has not been a long waiting yet, but I see some March applications has already been processed, hence the question.
Any input would be appreciated.
Cheers
