Thanks for your best wishes Roney and good to hear you finally concluded your journey. I am getting the ball rolling for my passport as well. In my view, I have already concluded my 11+ years immigration journey by having my certificate, the passport is only a travel document which I will be able to get in the space of few weeks!

You take care too and all the best!!
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it...

Thanks chicona!! I am sorry you are still waiting, I know what the waiting was like indeed. What makes waiting hard is that the Home Office marks Annex H of Chapter 18 is restricted and unavailable for disclosure so one can never tell why some applications are selected for extra checks and what those checks may be. Delays may simply be down to caseworker phonning in sick, unplanned leave etc so who knows

Sorry to hear that buddy!! I had mine in just under 4 months and malik0073 had his in 5 months. My initial analysis made me think if you don't get an answer within 4 months, your application must have fallen through the net but this obviously is not true.

Keep your hopes up guys.. I will still be around for a while to check how you are doing. I hope you hear back before the end of March

5 Feb 2013 - Got a call from UKBA tuesday afternoon asking my daughter's place of birth and it took me no time to understand that my daughter's registration certificate was being printed.
I asked if our application was approved to which he said that it was a straight forward case .

15 Feb 2013 - Invitation letter from Birmingham Council arrived for 3 of us (2 adults and 1 minor) inviting us for the Naturalisation ceremony. Not sure why they invited my 3 year old daugter.
Did you get the invitation automatically or did you call them to book it?
