Thanks for your best wishes Roney and good to hear you finally concluded your journey. I am getting the ball rolling for my passport as well. In my view, I have already concluded my 11+ years immigration journey by having my certificate, the passport is only a travel document which I will be able to get in the space of few weeks!Roney wrote:Guys, today I have recieved my shiny new passport and this concludes my journey of immigration to become british citizen. As I now leave the forum for good I Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on here specially Big sam, who have been through nearly the same frustration as me.
But in the end we all got it!!
For those who are waiting ,don't loose patience it will come.
Takecare all Bye.
BigSam wrote:Thanks chicona!! I am sorry you are still waiting, I know what the waiting was like indeed. What makes waiting hard is that the Home Office marks Annex H of Chapter 18 is restricted and unavailable for disclosure so one can never tell why some applications are selected for extra checks and what those checks may be. Delays may simply be down to caseworker phonning in sick, unplanned leave etc so who knowschicona wrote:bigsam, raynbest, malik congratulation ...
me still nothing no idea why what happened ;-(
Sorry to hear that buddy!! I had mine in just under 4 months and malik0073 had his in 5 months. My initial analysis made me think if you don't get an answer within 4 months, your application must have fallen through the net but this obviously is not true.qaziji wrote:
