I came to UK on 20 Feb 2002

Completed 10 years in UK and applied for ILR on 20 Feb 2012

ILR received on 20 Aug 2012

ILR issue date 15 Aug 2012 and expiry date 20 Feb 2022

I understand that I need to complete 1 year before I apply for naturalization BUT I don' know that when will this 1 year gets complete!!

Answer from 16/08/2013 , but if your are married to British citizen , you could apply now if you want but you've to include her details and prove of relationship.Buy on you own merit , you have to wait till above date.

Hi ujan1, not that I wish someone to be in my boat but good to know someone under same situation. Once you take oath, would you be travelling on your current passport, given that you are officially British Citizen. Also, what are your plans about passport application? Would you be travelling to the UK again to attend the passport interview. I posted http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=125230 to seek advice regarding this.

Which country you are moving to, if you don't mind me asking. I really hope our approval comes through before we leave the country.
