Since the application is straightforward, and our case is strong with all documents submitted, i am expecting to receive the approval email by the end of April of start of May 2023.

If you are reading this and waiting for your application update, please calm yourself with knowing that Home Office is currently doing better than ever on dealing with applications. Yes it says "6 months" on their official website, but your application will be dealt with much sooner. On average, it is taking about 2 months for straightforward applications; and around 3 months for little complex ones. And for refugee oriented, or non-EU complex cases, around 6 months.

It took me 6 Months and 6 days from the day of my application to approval, after my 6 months without a decision my solicitor contacted the HO, then I contacted my local MP (Newham) for Help he was really helpful he contacted me the same day and sent a letter to the HO.I have received my ceremony letter before the approval the same week on Friday then i booked the ceremony. My approval letter came the following Monday. Goodluck to everyone on here this blog been really helpful
