My time has finally come !!!!! (Sorry for the long post ahead)

5 months 2 weeks & 5 days.

Non EU - Tier 2 - 5 year + 1 - ILR

Involved MP : 10.12.2022

Received feedback that enquiries were still outstanding: 29.12.2022

Requested SAR (Subject Access Request) as I wanted to ensure that my case had been looked at: 17.01.2023

Received the documents and come to find out nothing had been done since I submitted my application - 06.02.2023

I decided to go ahead and book a free appointment to resubmit my biometrics as I believe it was because of technical issues using the IDV app - 14.02.2023

Within less than a week I received an email (11:54am) confirming my application has been successful

For anyone that has submitted their application using IDV app I would highly recommend to resubmit biometric at the center as this hasn’t only happened to me.

Update: 15 Feb. 2023, nothing yet. 7 months and 3 days. Contacted further enquiries and received the response saying "...enquiries are carried out by external agencies on our behalf and can sometimes take longer than six months to complete.". Contacted my MP, she promptly wrote to Home Office and sent me their response, which was the same. Nothing left to do except wait.
