I’ve applied in Early April so over 3 months already and I’m a bit concerned this will take another 3. I wanted to have summer travel plans but that feels not possible

It took long 11 months to get the approval. Sent several reminders and got generic reply saying that they have to do checks... Then contacted MP who wrote Home Office by end of May, he got same reply by end of June and finally today I got my approval email!!

+7 months and still waiting! No communication whatsoever from HO. After 6 months I emailed them and got a generic reply after 2 weeks.
I have studied undergrad/postgrad in the UK and have lived here for 9 years, also fully employed so I thought the application will be straight forward!
