Overall not a bad wait considering it was a first adult passport in the middle of summer! They say it can take 6 weeks, mine took exactly 14 days from HMPO receiving my declaration to me receiving my passport. I was very surprised to get an interview the day after receiving the letter - apparently Plymouth was the only office with appointments available that week and some offices had a 3 week waiting list!
