Update after ringing HM Passport Office
Re old documents, rung passport office and was given a DX tracking number. They tried to deliver on 19/01 but as I live in a flat they don't put passports on a communal area. They did not put any card but (supposedly) are sending a letter which would come through a few days later. Really anoying. So...eescheduled a special delivery for tomorrow.
Re new passport : printed but not dispatched yet.

hi, I received the same sms on 18/01/2016 at 10.00am from hm passport saying that '' your new passport should arrive in few working days and supporting documents separately'' but still no sign off passport yet most people got their passport next day after receiving the sms. starting to get bit worried now

Hi everyone,
I applied online for a UK passport on the 07/01/16.
My mother is a British citizen, I was born (and currently live) in France.
I received my original documents back in the mail from the UK Passport Office this morning.
The status on the online application says 'dispatched'. In the 'What do the status results mean?' section, it says dispatched means they are sending you your passport. Does this mean I won't have to attend an interview ?

Hi,

If you applied through pilot scheme (citizenship & passport app together) then you don't need to attend interview. Just wait you will get it soon
