A letter came through the post on 25/09/15 (dated 23/09/15, one day after the interview) asking me
to resend my naturalisation certificate which had been sent back to me on 21/09/15 to the IPS office above. I called the Adviceline and they followed it up with the IPS office who called back and asked me to resend the document. I sent it on 03/10/15 and it was received yesterday 05/10/15.

It has been a very long journey but I can only wait and see if anything comes through by Friday. I have not received any SMS messages throughout the process so far.

Update:
SMS received at 9.15 am yesterday and passport delivered around 12.30 pm same day but I was away from home. The document resent as per the update above has not been returned yet.

Hi all

i need advice from a senior member or someone face this problem

i send application for my 2 daughters last Monday and today i got a call from lady on passport office saying they cannot process my application because on my daughters registration certificate states her surname as smith and name as Judit Santos and on her Brazilian passport states her surname as Santos Smith and name as Judit
i contact the Brazilian consulate they informs due the Brazilian legislation Santos is part of her surname
even in her birth certificate states only Smith as surname Santos mum surname is surname
how i can deal with this ask home office to change on registration certificate or try to get another solution with passport office

Hi MraLondon Have you managed to find a solution regarding your. child's surname. I am in exactly the same situation as all my names are listed under the Surname section of my old passport. Let me know if you find a solution and I will also keep you updated of how mine goes.

Had letter and new form from HMPO today to fill out as had not filled out the parent's section as did not think it was required as not claiming citizenship through them (as form mentions), but through naturaliastion instead.
Called to clarify, and was told that parents and grandparents info (as parent were born outside of UK) was required regardless of claiming citizenship through them or not.

3. Please describe the route you took to reach the passport office today (include any public transport used)?

4. Who is your current employer and what is their address? At which site do you work and its full address?

5. What is your current job title and since how long have you been working there?

6. Names of all your previous employers in the UK and from/to dates worked and your job title at each role?

7. Full name of current and previous line manager?

8. What date did you first came to the UK?

9. What is your highest qualification and where/when did you attain it? What was the start date of that qualification?

10. Where did you complete your graduation and post-graduation? Which University?

11. Full name of your spouse and child? Maiden name of spouse? (spell it out)

12. Date and place of birth of spouse and child? Age of child?

13. Date and place of marriage?

14. The name of your child’s school and address? Describe the route from your home to the school?

15. Nearest playground from your home and describe the route from your home to this playground?

At the end of the interview, I was asked to sign and write my name on a paper which she matched with her records and said that I will have to wait for 10 working days or sooner to hear from them.

Hello Everyone,

I'm about to submit a first time adult passport application via check and send.

I notice by looking at this passport processing forum that many people seem to get their documents (including current passports I assume?) returned within 10 days or so of making a check and send application.

Is this common? I was expecting a wait of 6 weeks and had prepared myself for that but I'd be very, very happy if I could have my other passport back (not the British one that I'm applying for) and be able to travel in that time period.
