Just a quick question. Urgent reply would be appreciated

I have got my British passport (through tier 1 and ILR route). My wife is on tier 1 dependent.
I have a my son who was born 2 months ago
I need to apply for his British passport ASAP. I have gone through the forums but there are different answers and I am confused.

Can someone in the same situation PLEASE ADVISE which documents I need to send for British passport for my new born baby?

Hi,

you can do it either through check and send from the post office or fill the form online and then print and send it.

check the guidance or you can go to any post office and ask for the application form it will come with guidance.

i think you need child birth certificate and you proof of stay in uk

Update 11 Sept.
Had letter and new form from HMPO today to fill out as had not filled out the parent's section as did not think it was required as not claiming citizenship through them (as form mentions), but through naturaliastion instead.
Called to clarify, and was told that parents and grandparents info (as parent were born outside of UK) was required regardless of claiming citizenship through them or not.

British Passport finally arrived this morning. They tried to deliver it yesterday but no one was at home. Journey finally came to an end. Applied Naturalisation on the 3rd March and received passport today.

If you read the guidance booklet or you read online the guides . They clearly mentioned that dont glue it.Just send it along with form and other documents.

I received a letter (dated 17/09/2015) on 19/09/2015 stating that 1 photograph was missing with the application. When I checked the online status of my application, it stated that both photographs were missing so I called the helpline and they said that both photographs were received but I had glued one photograph on the application so the case worker used the wrong template to inform that it was missing and I have to send another set of photographs.

DO NOT GLUE PHOTOGRAPH on the application or you will be screwed like me. Just gently clip them on.

The guy told me my application should reach Liverpool office today.

Is there a way to track my mail to make sure it is delivered?

I looked at my receipt n there is no tracking number n only a bar code but im not able to track with it.

Any inputs will be much appreciated.

I called on helpline no and asked them whether you guys received my application or not. Lady on phone was very nice she asked me about barcode , name and DOB and then she said yes we received it .
