Approval email instructed to contact the council for ceremony. I was offered group ceremony on 04/12/2024. Did not want to wait that long so booked a private ceremony instead.

6 weeks and 1 day (43 days) from submission of biometrics. I expected to wait at least 8 weeks for a response so this was a pleasant surprise! Good luck to anyone else waiting

*Please note* - when I initially submitted my application, I did not realise that B1 Proof of English i sonly valid for 2 years. As such on 03/10/2024 I was advised of this and given the opportunity to retake my English Test. I promptly rebooked (at a cost of £150!) on the 5th of October and on the 9th of October I was able to send my results to the Home Office. The process although lengthy has been simple and easy!
