Date of receipt of interview letter: 13/7/15

I'm currently still waiting on my passport as the courier has delivered it to the wrong address even though they were given the right address to deliver it to so I don't even know where it is. I've been told it's being investigated but it's left me so uneasy considering I go on holiday in 5 weeks.

Sorry to hear that, will you please tell me why it took 8 days for you to book interview? Is it's hard to get an appointment a bit early?

I actually booked my appointment the day I got the letter. Unforunately the earliest appointment I could get at the Durham passport office (which is the closest to where I live) was 8 days later. It's pretty simple to book it, you just call the number provided in the letter and they'll run through the available timeslots for you so you can choose the best option for you.

So I feel much better now I have received my documents back, I presume this means that they have processed my application and looking at posts on here, it suggests my interview letter should come within the next couple of days. I rang them up today to try and book an interview but they told my I had to wait for my letter to come first. Will the rest of the process be relatively quick now I have received my documents? I Sign application section 9 my self (father) Today I went to post office for check & send service over the counter lady said mother should sign parental section 9 , not father otherwise passport will be delay

for my son i done it my self in January this year few days after his birth, sent my ilr proof along with the form and his birth crt ,he got his passport 2 weeks after...i dont know why she told you that,his got ur surname after all...(even that time i wasnt citizen yet and i was waiting for result to come thorough)....as long as u married to your child mother shouldnt be any issue...if u are married and post office staff told u cant apply u can complain to post office for delaying ur process.

Hey, I have had a look at the examples of questions which you can be asked in the interview but they are a few years old. I was wondering if the type of questions has changed recently. It would be great if someone who has recently been for the interview gives a few examples of the questions asked. Thanks

Interview will be comfortable and questions will be all about you which others find it difficult to answer.

This interview is purely intended to protect you from identity thiefs.

Questions may start from your journey to passport office that day, details of credit history,immigration history,details of family and so on.

Be honest and don't panic and trust me i find it friendly.

Please advice 5 years old child first passport application in section 9 parental father can do signature behalf of child or only mother ?

who ever made the application,doesnt matter,either of parents can do.
