Adding my timeline with a note that a friend who had a truly identical application to me (same country of origin, same time in UK), who submitted 1 day before me had her approval letter a full month before I heard anything. Was pulling my hair out with stress about why my application was taking longer.

I also emailed the HO email that others refer to and found it totally useless - their reply was that since my app had been received on 19 Sep (incorrect, it was Oct) it would take a while longer to be decided. I received this email on 07 Jan - 3 weeks after it had already been approved!

So basically, the timeline info on this thread is informative but also try not to stress out too much if you see others getting approval “faster” Try not to read anything into it - there is no rhyme or reason to HO timelines! Good luck
