On the printed application (from online) is there a place for countersignatory to put their details and sign? Do you still get standard passport application form from the post office and send that too?

just u need to sign the page with barcode on ur self and give it to ur reference to complete and sign one of ur pictures ( remember exact words should be write behind the pic by him/her)...then post it as it is with ur supporting documents( passport and ur naturalisation certificate if gain ur citizenship on that base)..thats all,dont add anything else part from the single page and required docs...send the application to the address mentioned in countersignature form on the top of the page,do NOT SEND TO DURHAM OFFICE UNLESS SAID IN THE TOP OF THE PAGE TO DO SO..if u do it makes delay in ur processing...good luck

After getting the delivery ref from PO tracked my passport delivery in dx website and seen my package gone deliver to me on Monday the 15th...very impressed with HM PO work,all together with delivery and everything toke 10 days until I get it on Monday...good luck everyone.

at last arrived this morning as they promised...im really happy and not worry anymore about immigration new rules and this and that...good luck to everyone...

Normally money gets deducted in a week's time (as happened with me) but it may take up to 10 days as busy periods come in summer.

I sent my passport application via postoffice ( next day recorded delivery [ no check and send] ) on 05 June. I recieved text message on 09 June saying its under processing.

Method of payment was credit card and so far no money has been taken. Any idea at what stage they deduct money?

I am about to apply for passport following receipt of naturalisation certificate. Reading this thread has confused me somewhat on the best method of applying i.e. online or post. Even if you apply online, they still send you the document to sign and complete a few bits and to send in your supporting documents. I would recommend postal but that is my opinion.

Processing time was 15 working days (3 weeks), from the receipt of documentation to dispatch of the passport and another week for the return of the supporting documents (without the photocopy of my Irish passport).

The DHL driver rang me to check if it was ok to drop my passport in the letter box and if he could do the same thing for the supporting documents when they arrive, even though there is nothing on the package saying it contained a passport or was from the passport office. They might as well have written British passport in big red writing across the envelope
