Hi, I have a question regarding the supporting documents for the new passport after naturalisation.

It is mentioned in the application that I need to send all uncancelled passports. I have an EU passport and also an EU identity card, and I can use both to enter the UK. Do I need to send the passport or is the ID good enough? Or is the form referring only to uncancelled british passports?

Send what they asking for ...Passport. I have the same like you and sent yesterday the application with my passport.

I just need to travel on my passport quite often within the next few months so this would delay my application for a passport until end of the year. Was trying to figure out if there is a way around it.

Just chill.. It takes up to 6 weeks to get your first passport.

I am trying to So I guess the HMPO includes some sort of allowance for delays into the 6 weeks period?
I can see the average for people here is 3-4 weeks.

I guess so.

Mine took 3 weeks to arrive... They are getting busier now as summer holidays are approaching and everyone is renewing their passports and whatnot.

Just a quick question. I have paid for the secure delivery of my documents when i applied for my daughters passport who is British by birth. I have received her passport through DX Couriers but haven't received my documents yet. Will i receive the documents through DX courier again or will it be a different courier ?

Hi there

I have rcvd my invitation letter from HO but haven't rcvd it from council yet. Anyways I am going to call my council tomorrow to check whether they've rcvd my certificate or not.

I believe my ILR would have been ceased by now as I am a British citizen now or will be after attending the ceremony IA.
I have to travel abroad for 2 days for holidays on this Wednesday which is day after tomorrow. So I will be attending the ceremony after coming back from holidays.
My question is (I think I will b fine but just to get an expert opinion I am posting it here).

Would I be fine using my current foreigner passport along with ILR BRP card to travel outside the UK?
Would there be any problems on the way back to UK?

Any comments will be much appreciated.

Got my passport today and it's got no observation of the name in my other passport. Happy days!

It appears they have allowed the name change after reading my letter.
