I got two envelopes as well today from dx my new nd old passports plus naturalisation certificate which my wife rip a part in two pieces by mistake as she was exited the way she opened the envelope i knew dat something is gna happen lol anyways dont need naturalisation certificate anymore i can have it duplicate i think ...nd passport issued date is 23rd april the day i went for interview....it took only 15 days total well done passport office staff ...good luck friends ...

Hi guys, i applied on 16th and my interview was on 23rd as well.

I received text from HM passport office today saying my passport being printed and should arrive in the next few days. So urs should be on the way as well.[/quote]

Just few minutes after i wrote my previous message my door bell rang and it was someone from dx.
He had 2 separate envelopes addressed for me.
One had my new british pp and second one had my supporting documents. I'm well chuffed as the entire process took only 6 working days and I received my pp on 7th working day.
I'm surprised that my pp came via dx as well because some people mentioned it came via royal mail and that too through the letter box without signature. I'm happy that i was home today to accept the delivery and my journey has come to an end. Good luck to everyone and my final timeline is:

They use either Royal Mail or DX for the passport. Well done!

I sent my application last Thursday, I just called the passport office to check if they've received it or not. The lady couldn't locate it on her system using either my post code or the check and send bar code. Is this normal? I hope they've received my application.

MIne was the same, it may take a couple of days to hit into their system, so call them up by tomorrow ...

I may have forgotten to complete section 5 of the passport application form, however I did of course enclose the certificate with the application.

Do you think not fully completing that section will affect my application?

It is bit confusing. It might not be a problem as u sent the certificate with ur application. But could be an issue cos u didn't fill ur form up completely. So leave it on ur luck.

On my application 2weeks ago which i have not gotten my passport for, i put the council details where it says place of issue and it was fine.

Place of issue of naturalization was not the council you did your ceremony. Your certificate will say where you certificate was issued. Have a look at this picture.

Well tangie i put where i did my ceremony and guess what i have my passport as we speak everything took 2weeks, it might just be that it does not really matter where you put so long as you filled it in, but come to think of it who actually issue the certificate to you, i would say the council as they actually signed it and give it to you, home office only send it to them whilst they actually issue it, sign and date it then give you.

Hi Tangie, Even i did put home office london as well. Ill advice everyone to put that. But some people in this forum put the council name and they got their passports without any problem.

Well this is not an issue. If you put ur council name it won't be wrong. All they want to check if it was issued in the uk or outside uk.

I was told to put the place of issue on the certificate Rahel.
