(I know its only process time but I'm also adding the reason why I'm still waiting and the letter I received from HM Passport office)

I received a letter on 25/2 dated 23rd that they tried to contact me on the number I provided and I need to call them back asap. In my application I wrote down my full name and in Section 8 I mentioned that I don't want my middle name to be added to the passport (as explained in the guide book) and at the PO C&S the person that was checking my application told me that if I don't my middle name to be added I don't need to write it down and she scribbled it.

So when I called the HM Passport office the person on the phone told me that the name on the passport need to be the same as the naturalization certificate. I told him that in the guidebook it says that I can ask to not include my middle name (which is not my middle name - not even a name, only two letters - and I tried in every application I applied to get rid of but with no luck) , he repeated the same thing that my name needs to match the one on the certificate. So I said it's not a big deal but worth the try. The person on the phone said that it's fine now and they'll continue processing the application. The person on the phone was really helpful and he spoke in a nice calm way.

Nope, not text. I just have been checking online to see the status. On Monday it changed from "Awaiting Documents" to the status of documents received, in process.

Okay, your status updates said IPS(SMS), so I assumed SMS referred to text message notification (all these acronyms are so new to me!). I just relied on web pages for courier tracking + HMPO online application status. Thank you!

I know this is probably not the right place but I cant find anywhere suitable to post my question so i thought i can ask here.
I received my certificate or naturalization yesterday and would like to send a passport application as soon as possible. However I need to travel soon (not sure when but definitely before 6 weeks from now)
My question is, can I still travel with my passport from my country of origin and re enter the UK using that passport which has my PR card or does the PR card become invalid once I have been issued with a certificate of naturalization.

Yes, you need to send your current passport + passport you first entered the UK on. (that's what I was made to do, in addition to attaching my BRP).

Hi abby20,

good to see your name on here again. . I used Check and Send and had mini heart attack when I tried to track it and the number i was given didn't work, when I rang was told it wasn't trackable - heart attack moment - then I finally rang to complain that I was convinced to use the service for an extra £2 for peace of mind only to be told it's not trackable, the call handler called the post office to get the Tracking number and confirmed the time it was delivered. Absolutely the next day signed for around 7 am.
