there was a slight complication with my application. i called on the 19th to confirm that my application was received. During the call, they questioned the spelling of my first name. somehow there was one incorrect letter in on file. the lady i spoke to sent an email to the Durham office explaining the error. i wasn't asked to resend the form. shortly afterwards i received the text confirming that my application was received.

there were a few calls from the passport office over the next few days, but there as more confusion as no one knew why they wanted to speak to me as i had already booked my appointment. i finally got hold of the Durham office today and they confirmed that everything was fine and that my name had been corrected.
