Interesting reading above that people are being told that first adult passport applications cannot be made from overseas. As mentioned, the online information seems to suggest it is ok. Does anyone have more information on this - e.g. is this correct? Does it only apply to certain countries? I would have thought an interview could be conducted at the British Embassy. It seems crazy that British citizens are not able to obtain passports.
edit: page 14 here https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _10.13.pdf suggests that you can make an application overseas.
If anyone else had successfully applied for their first passport at an overseas location, please share your experience.
