Thanks, BCMN1. When is your interview? As my residence is North Finchley, London, my closest place for interview would be Victoria, London. I doubt, I will get an appointment so might have to book at Chelmsford as well or Luton or Crawley. Please share your experience.BCMN1 wrote:My application is at Peterborough Office.
I called to check whether they can send me my supporting docs before hand as Im travelling next week.
Couple of very helping customer service advisors assisted me in not only returning my docs but also got interview letter at the same time.
I booked my interview today at Chelmsford, Essex Passport Office as I didnt mind traveling for it any where in the UK.
Thanks ...junk2014 wrote:Shiva29shiva29 wrote:junk2014 wrote:Application Timeline

Description: Received letter (dated 26 May 2014) saying that I had missed some sections of the form (which I don't think so as the online system says that you can't proceed to the next section without completing the current section). They sent a paper form and asked that I fill it in and send it back. Posted 30 May 2014
As mentioned by Skimatic, it was the parents section that turned out to be missing.
HI Junk2014,
Please can you advise me , what was the form they sent to you for asking the parents ( missing detail) as i recently filled and sent to them on 09/06/2014 and even i didnt get any where to enter my parents detail section when i filled it on the online application. After i sent only i read your thread and understand that the same problem is going to be for me as well.
What is your suggestion, shall i wait until they send me the additional form asking my parents detail or shall i fill the form which is available in post office on the parents detail section and send to them by adding my passport application reference number.
What is your suggestion and advise me what kind of form they sent to you by asking the parents detail.
Thanks
The form seemed to be a full paper application that I filled in completely, not just the parents section. It was 1 sheet, but folded so you had 4 pages. Don't know if it was the same as from the post office as they sent it to me.
If in the summary section of the printouts you did there is no mention of parents, then it might be worth a try to send in the paper form as well. The paper form I received had a barcode in the box at the top already, so I don't know if this was tied to my application or not.I don't know what would be on a form that you get from the post office. You can see.
I suppose that so long as you send a letter explaining what it is for and include the reference number from the online application, they might be able to keep it together. I do remember that this form went to a different PO box than the original application was sent to. Don't know if this would make a difference. The letter came with a self adhesive address label so I don't remember what it was.The other thing was that if the paper form was countersigned by the same person as the original form and photos were, I didn't have to send any more in. If I needed to get someone else to countersign the form, then I had to send more photos signed by this new person.
Hope this helps.

Date of appointment in less than 14 days of receipt is a very quick turn around especially with the passport renewal crisis going on.19eggs wrote:
Isn't that a quick turn around. Congrats. Could you give us more details as to which passport office it was sent to and where is the interview ? I am sure it would help many.

Received a letter advising the the payment sent with my application was invalid and was advised to call 0300 222 1111 to pay by debit card. Called at 6pm, automated service said everyone was busy so opted for the call back service. 8.25pm now and heard nothing. Tried again, still have the 'everyone's busy' message
