Anyone who applied around 11th April receive the interview invitation letter and documents yet?

I did but no response as yet.

I think the bank holidays in April and this earlier this month could delay things. I did however have a call from them on Saturday to confirm my address. Did you receive a similar call?

come on guys , YOU WHO HAVE DONE THE INTERVIEW? may i know what they ask you when you book the interview ? do they ask the reference number from the interview letter? and does the reference number start with SA or is it just the passport application barcode number???????? thanks

I sent my application via Post Office Check and Send on 7/4
I received a text from the Passport Office 11/4 telling me my application has been received.

Since then I have heard nothing and have been waiting patiently. But I am beginning to worry. Have I given them enough time before phoning to check or should I give it more time?

I called the Liverpool office and the kind lady I spoke with was kind enough to give me my application ref, so she said to call 0300 again and request a call back and I am expecting someone to call me back in 48 hours , for the second time!

I received my Documents days before the Interview letter I believe. I also received a phone call on Monday Bank holiday but I missed it and I called a number left by the woman on the phone to call her back. I called her yesterday and was told They are doing further checks as requested by the interviewer and if I do not receive my passport in 5 days I should call back again. I have the same time line and I haven't received anything yet. I think you get interview letter through post separately from your documents. If you paid extra for special delivery than your documents will be delivered to you and you have to sign for them, if you are not at home than you will be notified that they tried to deliver your documents.

Online status: Dispatched on 06/05/2014.
I hope, this info will be useful for others. I was not asked to fill the paper application, though I kept filled application ready to post.
This journey is over. Next journey starts for passport surrender and OCI card.

How did you come to know when your application was received by HMPO? I recently applied through Post Office check & send and they have only given me a receipt with a bar code reference. You would need a royal mail tracking number to find out when your application reached HMPO. Do we expect the post office to give us a royal mail tracking number as well?

my passport time line... still no reply. Posted via check n send service on 14th Apr.
I need to know how does the invitation letter comes to us and original documents returned?
Is it by RM or some other services? As my mails comes by 12 in morning.. I am living in sharing house, dont want my originals to end up lost?
I cant stay home full day. i have paid extra for return of org docs.

Yes. They will ask you for the reason, if you book far-away office. If you say, waiting for the passport for travel booking, they won't say anything.
