Alhamdulillah. Today I have received citizenship approval for me and my wife after 9 and half months. It was a long journey though application was straight forward.
After 6 months home office confirmed me that they were unable to complete my application within 6 month time period. So they extend another 3 months. They hold my application because of the policy issue.

I have also contacted Local MP. But MP had same reply from Home office which I had received previously.

After Eight and half months later they asked us for Biometric registration though I have applied 30 March 2015.so As far I know I don't need that. Anyway, I have done biometric registration.

Alhamdulillah this is end of my story.

Unfortunately I'm currently out of the UK(In India) and will not return to the UK for the next 3-6 months due to family reasons. I know there is a option to attend ceremony abroad if we are not in the UK, but I'm completely clueless about the process and contacts. Do you know anyone who attended ceremony outside UK? Is it really possible? Otherwise I would need to travel to UK just to attend ceremony which is expensive and time taking.
