What tips do you need TTOE, I was there on Tuesday.

Multistorey car park across the road from the building. The PO folks are quite relaxed, they do ask a lot of questions though, but are very friendly.

Do not need to carry any documents with you at all, apart from the interview letter. Carry water etc, as there is no water cooler in the office or in the building!

Hi TTOE - My dates are exactly same as yours except the application is for 2 Adutls and 1 minor. I haven't received any letter after receiving SMS on the 10th March. Playing the waiting game ....

Had my interview today- very friendly, took 7 min. Some of the questions I have been asked-
• Name, DOB
• Where do I live and work
• Questions about parents
• What do I think happened to the Malaysian plane…(seriously)

I think you can go to any city ..................where the day is available..............

I agree, this is true, you can go to any city you wish....I think the offices are staffed depending on demands. Dont be surprised to get farther appointment date in a relatively unpopular city. You get more slots where the demand for appointments are high hence HMPO tend to have more staffs on ground hence more appointment slots.

Can you attend any office?

Ie if someone is need passport urgently and dont mind any distance for the PO office, will allow you to attend the next possible date anywhere in the UK?

Or you go to selected centres only?

I mean was there and option for you to attend this somewhere else, ie if this is urgent do they allow it?

The other option I flagged to him has the first available slot in April, to be honest Thursday next week is just round the corner. Few days of wait is nothing compare to how far we've all had to wait to get to this stage.

I received a letter from PO a few days ago, arranged an interview, but after a few days no documents sent back and I need passport, any idea how long does it take to get those documents back, what I see from forum 1-2 days or in da same day, almost a week and nothing

In some cases they return the original docs and passport after the interview. Mine was the same - I got them back the day before I received the British passport.

I am travelling on 6/4/2014 so bit tensed to get current passport back in time but HMPO turn around very quick and likely after interview on 28/03/14 will get UK passport as well before I fly.
