Was surprised today when rang to book interview appointment to find out the closest date in my local office is END OF APRIL!!! So have to go to a different one. Ridiculous isn:t it?
My husband still haven't heard anything about his passport renewal.
It's seems that the passport offices are getting busy, as Easter holidays are near and due to October naturalization applications backlog![]()
Which Passport office had dates available at end of April? Even 28th March is quite far...which office you booked the interview in the end?
I've just sent my application on Friday and i am traveling on 17th April, so if the Passport office is booked by 10th April in London, i'll have to book my interview in Luton or somewhere else...![]()
Cheers & Good Luck
Yes, I thought it would be possible to book in the next few days but... my nearest is Yeovil passport office in Somerset which offered date of April, 28th so they suggested Bristol instead which also seems to be busy. I suppose it is easier in London to get a closer date but Somerset seems to be oh so busy... The guy said: "Do you really need passport now?" - What a silly question hey?
Good luck and hopefully you'll get a good date for your appointment.
I didn't think that Somerset would be sooo busy, I was thinking that you might say that the London office was your first attempt.
Yeah, the guys from these offices don't really care about someones needs, emergencies - that's why when you call for an update, they don't really check the progress of your application, they just say that "it is in process" and that's it, it's off their back!
Thanks for your kind wishes and hopefully London office will not be as busy...
Enjoy your weekend
