Could someone help me, please. I have submitted my application 2 weeks ago via NCS ( I havent received anything yet, and fees hasn't been taken. At NCS office They have gave me a tracking number for the post office to track the envelope with my application.

I have tried to track it and on post office website it says that it was delivered to 'our Warrington Delivery Office'. It doesn't really say that it was delivered to the Home Office. Is this normal ????

How do you know when your application has been delivered to UKBA???

Hi all,

Can anyone please help me with a query? I am in the process of applying for my British citizenship and British passport. I have so far only submitted the UKM application. Yesterday i received my invitation to do my Biometric Enrollment which i will be doing on Monday the 2nd November 15. What i want to know is, how long do i need to wait now after it has been done to get an outcome (decision)? Both my sons are in the UK already and i so badly want to get to them. I am applying through my British mom and i was born before 1983. My boy's went on Ancestral Visa's. I really hope the waiting period will not be months and months. Has anyone recently done theirs? Once a decision has also been made, how long does the Passport portion of it take? how much time am i looking at more or less?

I dont know why they wrote this letter only to send me approval letter few days letter.

Good luck to everyone waiting,is been a difficult journey dealing with the home office but you will receive your approval letter known as the brown envelop sooner or later,thanks.

Finally received brown envelops for myself and wife. I was getting quite nervous after seeing a lot of applicants who applied later than me, getting their approval letters. Thanks to this user baord for getting me through this time.
