received my approval letter today (1st class stamp!!), here is my time line:

Acknowledgement letter and request to pay extra 100 pounds (as my application received after April fees change): 23/04/2015
Biometrics: ?07/05/2015
Approval letter: dated 12/10/2015
it is worth mentioning that i had speed ticket and 3 points on my licence exactly one year before i applied on April which i did not declare as my understanding when i filled the application was Parking tickets and speed tickets are not convictions unless you have several, obviously lots of people here thinks that you should declare points on licence, i have to admit that i had very worried about it at times!
i wish the best for all and hope for those waiting to receive their approvals very soon

Hie...I am in the same boat with regards to points on my licence, I got 3 points in October of 2011, and I did not declare this after being told different things, I am sooo worried that they might see this as being deceitful...thank you for posting this, a little peace of mind...Goodness I have had enaff sleepless nights thinking about this, fingers crossed it will be the same for me!! Congrats on your approval!

It took me around 14 months. It was refused initially and I requested for reconsideration but was finally approved. I took help of my MP many time and he has been chasing since June/July 2015 but still it took a long time.

pls check if she is British citizen in the documents because i applied for my nationality after my ILR but got refused saying that my partner is not British national so i have to wait for one year after my ILR. as per my knowledge you have to make sure your partner is British citizen in papers if not wait for one year after your ILR.

Hi guys,

We got the acceptance letter today dated for the 6th October. I will update the timeline shortly but just so you know we applied via NCS on 1st May. They certainly have taken their time to process.

Good luck to the rest of you still waiting. I'm sure it's just round the corner!!

Letter states that they will send out a confirmation for the ceremony in approx. two weeks time. I will also update the date as and when that happens.

Decided I wasn't going to put up with the bullshit of UKBA like I did for my IRL. So already contacted my local MP and going to let them deal with. So frustrated with the process. Thought the idea of using a NCS was to make things easier for them.........

Ok it's been over 6 months and I've still not heard anything from them. Beginning to wonder if my biometric request go lost in the post. Tried to email the Home Office with the email provided, only to get a generic response saying they rebranded the email address and would forward everything on from 21st of March for the next 6 months, which has already passed.

Any suggestions? I had to get my MP involved previously when they took longer than 6 months to process my indefinite leave to remain. Sounds like I'm going to have to do the same again.[/quote]
