If the applicant use NCS service then whether they give back the original BRP card along with other originals or they send original BRP to ukba??

If you use NCS then u only send photocopies of ur documents. So u can keep all ur documents to urself except LIUK certificate.

No they have kept the life in the UK certificate. sent back all other documents.

My husband has received back all his documents on 12 September 2015 but not approval letter yet. Is this normal?

He has also received back his BRP card? I thought they would keep this. has others got theirs back too?

Did they send back Life In the UK Test certificate as well? if they returned LIUK test certificate that means application is not approved I am afraid.

I did applied before 1st of April so no biometric for me and I was charged with the old tax and acknoledgement I dont know exactly because I did applied with a solicitor but they took the money very quick on 1st of April and I think was bank holiday on that day.

May i ask why you paid £2050 for both. I thought the price was £1005 each so 2010 for you both....

I submitted my application on 01July2015, paid the fee on the 7th july 2015, and biometric the following week. ever since I didn’t hear nothing. However, on 03Setpember 2015,I requested my documents back as I need to travel for two weeks. I got my documents back within 4 working days and the enclosed letter stated that they will contact me to return the documents when they started working on my application. This means for the last two months, they haven’t touch my appliation.

Do any of you experience something similar and do they request you to re-send your documents back? And do any of your get approval from July application. would i experience further delays? I know they stated waiting time within 6 months, but it seems some people get their approval within few weeks.

any one got an idea?

I sent my application on 12.08, received an acknowledgment letter dated 25.08, but till now nothing about biometrics. Is this strange that both acknowledgment and biometric letters where not sent together? How can I find out if they had already sent it?
Would be super grateful for help. Applied from London, does it make any difference?Because I would suspect it does not however I don't know how they sort out the mail:)

I've got the same issue, but my acknowledgement letter dates back to 18.06! I am not sure why my biometrics were never requested, could anyone help on this? :/

They won't send the biometrics letter with the acknowledgement letter... see the timelines of others....
unfortunately there is no way to find out... wait for few more days and if you still didn't get it, then email them or call them
Applying from London shouldn't make a difference...
