I just got my passport just now, the guy just pushed it through the letter box, didn't need to sign for it which am surprised. Thank the lord. Am shocked it came in 2 days because i was expecting 3-4 days after it was printed on Monday. Anyway, I thank God for his grace and mercy and I thank God for the substantial support from everyone in this forum and I wish you guys all the best in your journey to your British books and just remember to keep looking at each other's timelines for a peace of mind. x

I must admit the passport helpline was not helpful at all. Last night I called them and was told that my passport has not been printed yet and this morning I got it.

omg there was me thinking you needed a signature because when i received my orginal documents i paid for secured delivery and i got my originals back with dx secure delivery with no signing. If thats the case. thank god. as long as its delivered

Oh thanks, am predicting mines should come on friday because I had the interview on monday and when I phoned yesterday the guy said my passport was printed on my interview day and is just awaiting the couriers to pick it up and deliver it. So thursday to friday max. Thanks

I had my interview today and unfortunately unlike many of you who had friendly interview mine was very different. The interviewer told me that it will be a friendly talk with a dead serious face. And twice she told me if I don't get my passport or don't hear from them I should call the advice line.
I tried to answer all the questions but she asked me the first class I've attended when I start high school in UK and my teachers name and I told her I can't remember. ( it has been 9 years come on) She gave me a look. Now i am worried..

Hey, I say you should relax too as well, I was asked what is the name of the primary school I went and I almost forgot. To me, if you went there and got about 8--90 per cent questions about you wrong then I would be worried because remember these questions are about you and just to protect your identity so I would not be worried over that mistake at all. Also if you want a peace of mind, I phoned the IPS yesterday and asked them for a progress of my application and believe me when I say this, normally when you've passed the interview, they print your passport on the same day and you receive it within 3-4 days. So try calling them today and ask them for a progress and see what they say

do not think about it I couldnt remember a few questions as well. Mind you its all personal question they do not have answer to as well so you could tell anything and they wouldnt know also. I forgot a few questions myself. lastly they told me after they finish their check I will be hearing from them in ten days and if not call them on the number on my letter. then I got my Passport 3 days later. so relax and you get yours from 3/4 days after your interviews.

Hi , I don't really know, because when I got home at 5pm and it was my house so I presume it was delivered by normal mail. There was no signing for it. Just count 3 days from the day of interview date and you receive it.

I honestly dont know how to thank this forum, i have followed it and taken advice and comfort from it during my immigration process, i decided to register today to just thank you all for the support, it was never directly to me but i saw people in the same circumstances who were brave enough to post similar stories to mine and were supported and advised and somehow it transcended to me!

We are travelling on the 19/03/2014 so i hope we can get an early interview date, We booked our trip 7 months ago when we started the whole naturalisation process so hopefully we will have our passports by then, if not we will just use our old passports with ILR. Good Luck all and thank you

Guys, please DO NOT give an alternative delivery address when submitting the application.
I did ask my passport and docs to be delivered to my office and everything was delayed as I had to send a confirmation from my employer that I work there and it is OK docs to be delivered in the office.
Subsequently received the original docs so late...

Guess we both had our interview today huh

I got asked name
where I lived
how long it took to get there
how i travelled to work and what bus
which department i worked in
how many back accounts I had
Do i have any student loans or general loans
How many sisters i had
name of all the schools i went to
my previous home address
do i own my home or is it rented
where my parents were born and both date of birth and plus all their names

The questions were just too much but thank god its over. Am hoping the passport comes at least by friday as normally they get issued the day of your interview once the interviewer gives the ok. The guy on the phone at ips tried to tell me it gets issued 1 week after kmmt

Don't worry..that's fine..I rang hmpo helpline nd was advised...send any uncancell passport...Nat certificate for duly filled and 2 photos....

Even d guys at post office many a times don't know the requirements
