If you are using C&S service, how do you know it's received by IPS on 20th?

Application Type: New
Method of application: Post Office C&S
Date of application: 06.02.2014
Date application received by IPS: 10.02.2014 (though PO claims next day Special Delivery)
Date SMS received : 10.02.2014 (only one SMS - may be confirming both applications?)
Date of return of documents: 20.02.2014
Date of Passport Receipt: 20.02.2014 (Received only 1 passport and waiting for next one)

Can someone shed some light on this why both passports haven't arrived together? and shall I call HMPO to check for 2nd passport? Plz note we have received all supporting documents sent with both applications.

Don't worry about it, the second one will come separately, the same thing happened to me when i did my kids passport (2), they came on separate days, and i don't think they are even put next to each other when typing them up or what ever, because their validity / expiry dates are different, they are within two days of each other.

Sorry darling, the way you've written this post is almost confusing, you made it look like this post belonged in the naturalisation timeline because of the NCS and letter of approval which am sure is not apart of this process, if am wrong I apologise.

Hmm only if you come earlier than normal, though they do say 15mins before appointment. Mines at 8:45 in the morning.
