I had hiccup with the application due to the headsize in the passport photo being a bit off the required dimensions.
6th Jan 2014 - Letter stating about photo requirements not met
8th Jan 2014 - Sent 2 passport photos signed by countersignature again by Royal mail SDE
9th Jan 2014 - Belfast HMPO received photos according to requirements

I opted for normal 2nd class delivery as I didn't want them to chase me for signature but post it through the mailbox directly.

HI All, I've been approved for British citizen so going to my ceremony in march. I've got one question to ask, I filled out the British application form and it says you must write in the white boxes on the form. Has anyone written a bit out of it and still get approved.

No they gonna cancel your nationality do not do this

Only signature must be in white area not all form

My wife and I submitted our applications on Jan 18 through Check & Send, we each received today a txt message from HMPO stating that they have received each of our application for a passport.

I saw some timelines where they reported not getting an SMS but subsequently received the interview letter and ultimately their passports.

Has your documents been returned to you or your wife? You also previously mentioned your wife received an SMS, has she now received the interview letter?

Yes she received interview letter and dacument back last week thursday. I still nothing!

Hi , I actually received my passport yesterday, I think it was a guy from the passport office personally delivered it. It wasn't a normal delivery. So have patience, you all should receive it shortly. Good Luck

Hi Kiran - welcome to the forum. Based on information provided by other members who applied in December, the average time seem to be 3 - 4 days after the interview. There are exceptions of course (alis92005's interview was on Jan 14 but have not received the passport as of today).

Can you provide the timelines for your application (also applies to alis92005, rize007, luk1c or anyone else that applied recently)? This can help other forum users who just applied (me ) or will be applying soon. The December data is slightly misleading due to the holidays.
