Congrats Anil - I've a query, why it took 5 days to reach IPS, does it mean there are delays with Check and Send?

I submitted on 29th but they must have got the next day but I got text message on 4th so i took it as 4th. probably they must have got the next day.

Dear All,

As this topic was discussed a few times I wanted to give example of my recent experience. I received my citizenship at the end of Sept however as I travel frequently and have my temporary work location overseas I never had chance / time to wait for passport application. On my way back to UK I used my ILR to get on the plane and actually went to non UK passport lane (as it was shorter) and showed both my ILR and certificate to the passport officer.

The officer didn't even look at my certificate and applied usual procedures (i) scanned my ILR (ii) asked me how long I was away (iii) scanned my finger print (iv) stamped my passport and wrote the home office reference # next to the stamp.

There was a question before, and the answer is the ILR does not expire (as the officer scanned it and cross checked with my finger print)

As an update, I had an interview on Saturday. I've been asked all information on the form, as well as general questions about life, bills, phone contracts, banks, and my job. After the interview, I realized that I didn't quite remember how I paid for this application. I said I used my MasterCard credit card, but I realized I actually used my debt card which is visa. I wonder, if Peterborough passport office would like to contact me, which number they would call from. Today I received a call from a hidden number which I was late to respond.
