it has been 11 months im still waiting for my decision I got ilr on the basis of ilr I got British wife and British kids. I have no criminal records. I hv ielts and life in uk pass. and im still waiting. is anybody else waiting for long time?

How do people know the date their application was received by Home Office?

I applied with form AN @ NCS on 5th May.

It's now 26th May and no money hasn't been taken from my account, and I haven't received anything acknowledging receipt of my application.

Call your NCS and ask for tracking nr.

I applied 1 week after you. Same story. Fees still not deducted. Still early though. Be patient my friend.

It seems common though that right after they deduct the fees, they sent acknowledgement letter and biometric enrollment.

Is not it strange that fees were deducted in one transaction for both of us, one acknowledgement letter addressed to both of us, however she received her biometrics week ago but i have not received mine! Or is this normal?

How long you have been in UK.
I am waiting since first week of september .

I did not receive any 3-6 month letter But I emailed to furthernationalityenquiries and they sent me 3-6 waiting - scrutiny checks etc.
I am Tired of waiting.

But again we can not do anything.

I have been in the uk more then 4 years and my application is straight forward as I have done ielts and life in the UK. I have sent them few reminders as well but they dnt bother they say they will take an other 3 to 6 months and it has been already 10 months as I applied in july. they said they have transferred my application to an other department for further investigation.

Thanx Brov, and as my journey is over now,i would like to thank everyone here.from my waiting experience, I just want to tell I this
1) BE PATIENT even if it's not easy.nothing to lose as long as you can live and work in the UK,citizenship is just a bonus
2) don't be soo optimistic on early respond from HO. Set up your mind for 6 months waiting game. It can be very straightforward application for you not for HO.ps mine was too straightforward for me but took more than 4 months.

Wow I didn't know that HO accepts expired IELTS, I gave a new IELTS exam to apply for my ILR in April 2014 (I had an expired IETLS but thought its not valid anymore so gave another exam) , submitted the same valid IELTS for Naturalisation in April 2015

You can use expired IELTS for neutralisation even if you haven't used it before for visa application. But for ILR you can't unless you have used it for previous visa application .

From Jan & Feb timelines, I dont think there were 13000 a month, I know it is a fraction on the board, there are many who doesn't know about this forum! may be on March it is possible, but it is a guess!, we are not sure un till we get the exact figures! on recent FOI request HO replied, break down will be published later in this year(Diplomatic answers again).

Home office might be being sly here. Yes they received 39411 Applications but the applications granted could have been from july last year.

Yes, We have to till we get the break down of every months statistics , because from their previous statistics by 31 dec 2014, they had around 10,000 pending?? if we add that to the equation, then the figures would be around 50,000 (in total) still 14,000 pending???

You guys are absolutely spot on! It is the number of applications that HO received during the FQ of 2015, but approvals and refusals could be from ancient times!! Such a deceitful statistic [/quote]

But 39441 applications in just 3 months? What we seen from previous FOI that normally they get 7 to 8 thousands application a month but if its true that means on average they got more than 13 thousands a month.
