Passport process was much better than I anticipated. I have a long name and I wrote a cover letter explaining my preferred short name. They still show your full name as an obsevation.

However, TNT delivery is awful. They tried to deliver on saturday, but despite being home, they didn't even bother knocking on the door. I ended up arranging a collection from their depot on monday to avoid further dissapointment!
