Thanks very much for your response Mohhru. I feel so much better now as I finally got a proper answer from someone who recently applied for naturalisation. Congrats again mateMohrru wrote:Thanks, Ironmaiden. No idea about dat2 form to be honest - neither PSNI nor UKVI have requested this from me. They most likely have done some sort of checks with PSNI in the background but nothing that would involve me in a way of supplying them another document. I simply followed the process outlined online and in the AN1 guide/booklet and there was no provision for special/additional paperwork for NI.ironmaiden wrote:
First of all congrats MohrruI live in Northern Ireland too. I was wondering did HO ask you for subject access access form? I think it's called dat2 form that you fill the form and take it to police station. Some of my mates told me that when you apply from Northern Ireland, HO sends a letter and requests you to do a police check etc., were you asked to do anything like that?
I have sent my application in March and they still did not ask anything like that. Your response will be appreciated as nobody has a clue about it
Good luck in any case!
