Ombudsman will not take your complain straight away rather than they accept complains only coming form MP's so any one who wants to complain to Ombudsman regarding UKVi need to go through their MP's.

I'm not disappointed about this decision as in my country is war for the moment, people from other country will understand me like Iraq, Livia, Palestine etcetera. Make sure your solicitor know what he doing as my wasn't competent.

Good luck to all.
Sorry to hear that your application has been refused. But you can reapply after 8th of october 2017.

so...application made early dec 14
I just contacted the Home Office (+443001232253).
The automatic voice mail guides you through a few options (you made/or not an application) ---> more than 6 months / less than 6months ---> if it is less than 6 months, the automatic voice mail tells you that they are not able to tell you anything for this kind of requests. the line then is -simply- cut !!!
So you re not even able to speak to anyone (except the voice mail).
Is this common?

Dear All, Apologies for not updating earlier; as I mentioned before, I was away on holidays for 3 weeks.
I came back home to find a) acknowledgement letter, b) approval letter, and c) ceremony invitation from the council.

Application Timeline:
Eligibility criteria: 2 years HSMP + 3 years Tier 1 General + 2 years ILR
Language Criteria: Degree taught in English
Method of application: NCS Oxford
Application Form Type: AN form (for self & wife) + MN form (for daughter)
Date of application: 16-Mar-2015
Date of receipt by UKBA: 17-Mar-2015 (as per tracking provided by NCS)
Date of debit of fees: 23-Mar-2015
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: letter dated 23-Mar-15 (Didn't receive any email)
Date of receipt of approval: letter dated 29-Mar-15 (29th March is a Sunday, not sure if this is a typo)
Date of Ceremony: 07-May-15 (letter dated 07-Apr-15 from Oxfordshire Country Council)

@davster - I just saw your PM, hope this update helps.

I'm surprised at the quick turnaround and how applications are picked up at random by care workers. All the very best to everyone waiting.

you should put "your name" trading as "XYZ" alternatively put "your name (sole trader). In the business address just put your home address.

Guys sorry about posting into this thread, I know this thread is for processing timeline only.
but I need a bit of advice from those of you already applied for naturalisation.

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... h_2015.pdf

In the AN Form under the section 3 - Good character requirement .
on 3.2 it asked for type of my occupation - which is self employed.
then on section 3.3 it asked for - Name of employer or business
on Section 3.4 it asked for - Address of employer or business

I run my business as a sole trader, I don't have business name, I run my business from home this is why I don't have separate business address so what should I write on these two section ( Section 3.3 and Section 3.4)

please advise me.

thank you

In both cases, it's silly.
My solicitor submitted a legalised copy (free) of my passport with my application and returned the original of my passport back to me as I'm travelling in the Middle East at the end of the month. He said that the HO is perfectly fine with this as legalised copy is exactly the same as the original.
