I phoned IPS six days after the interview as I had seen on here that most Luton interviewees got their passports in a few days. I politely acknowledged that I was phoning within three weeks but that I was hoping to be able to Tavel on the 23rd. They were super friendly and tracked my application. Apparently there was attempted delivery on the 12th July.
After many problems with DX couriers I got the passport at 6.15 this evening. IPS are really helpful - be friendly and polite and they will do what they can to make the process easy. The only way to speak to a human at DX is by phoning the IPS information line and being transferred. They did this for me five times and with sympathy. Hoorah so happy!

Congrats! Why did it take so long for you to receive your passport after your interview though? Normally it seems to take only a few days.

After two weeks they asked me to re-do the application because I put the date in section 9 where you sign inside the box. It took the letter to come to me 7 days. Then a week after that they asked me to send them my passport pictures again (?) This took my case worker extra solid days to process...

I am a bit disappointed with the contact procedure with IPS. Every letter that I received from my case worker had a private number that I was suppose to call to contact him in case I have any inquiries. Did it work? Not at all! I called in the morning, mid-day, afternoon. Are they sleeping? Anyways, I am done. My journey is over.

Ah, that explains it. And yeah, you won't have to worry about that any more, you're all finished!
