I see you got your passport today, congratulations buddy. There are also familiar names here. I met fajr and adamboston on the 10 year IRL, the citizenship waiting lists and soon I will be applying for my first passport to catch up with you lotemmigrator123 wrote: Got my passport today. Method of application: Check & Send -Special Delivery with a pre-paid SD envelope for returning documents
Date of application: 25-Feb-2013
Date application received by IPS:- Don't Know
Date of fee deduction: Paid at the Post Office.
Date of return of documents:Set up a Royal mail direction, so don't know yet.
Date of receipt of interview letter: - Set up a Royal mail direction, so don't know yet.
Date of Passport Appointment: - 05-March-2013
Date of Passport Receipt: - 07-March-2013
I called the customer service number and the helpful chap told me that they already sent me a reference number to book the interview appointment. As it may take longer to receive it (second class coupled with royal mail redirection), I asked the person if he could give me the reference number and phone number to book the appointment. He did and went for the appointment yesterday.
I suggest people to read the example questions on this forum before going to the interview. Some of the question might trip you. For e.g. what's your parents DOB. I am sure quite a few of us don't know it (even my parents don't know the true DOB )

Just got interview letter today. IPS guy said I will not receive my documents back until the end of the process.
I see people here having their documents returned before they even have their interview, am I missing something?
Thanks for your help in advance
