I thought they would have done these checks everytime you apply for a UK visa/ILR and those applications are processed much quicker and in order of application date, but the naturalisation applications tend to be processed in a random order which no one seems to know why?!

Hello, Guies, i am also the one among those who applied in January and still waiting for the result, meanwhile, many others have been approved in short time. i do not understand the HO criteria dealing with application. If the do CRB check on each application for example then CRB checking department must have a time scale to issue certificate then how some people are approved within one week or two weeks? It is required to do CRB check for each application anyway. Obviously there are a lot other more requirements to be fulfilled for approval that takes bit of time. So keep finger crossed and let hope for the positive outcomes. What can we do if there is a delay because the ball is not in our pocket.
CRB is just one factor and it's not entirely within the HO's control because according to the form they do it with the country of the applicant's current nationality.
So which nationalities are processed quicker? And which form are you referring to?
I wouldn't know which nationalities as I don't work for the Home Office.

It took them 7.5 months to approve my application so be paitent and do not stress it will come whenever it comes there is not alot you can do.

Dont take stress and dont assume that home office clearing JAN applications first, you just seen less than 30 people who applied in JAN and may be 20 got quick approvals in this forum, which is not even 5% of applications they receiving every month . in rough calculations HO receiving average more than 7000 applications every month. So we cant judge HO performance here in this forum because not every one updating here. Just wait and relax

They will send it to your UK address i assume, if you are in doubt am sure if you give them a call and explane why you are in germany they will be able to help you, or you can request your passport if you need to travel back as i did, and get someone to post it to you in germany.

OK cool, I was freaking out, for a moment it seemed you're either waiting since 2014 or you wait two weeks only for your approval.
