The service standards are excellent by IPS. It could be possible because if post office sends your application quicker, IPS checks could complete in 1 day. In my case, my application reached IPS after 4 working days, although it should be next day delivery- Spoiled brat, congrats for this lightening fast passport arrival.

thanks everyone , yeah it's unrealistic for sure even i don't believe it and no one is willing to believe me,

have showed it to 6 of my friends and am pretty certain there will be a few more who will ask me for the proof...

this is money well spent, i was really disappointed with my local council for the british ceremony ( even though i got my approval in first /2nd week of december, i got my private ceremony date on the 7th of Jan, same date i submitted the passport application).

PS: mods if you must delete these posts then kindly move them to the general discussion thread please instead of soft deleting them
