I spend a lot of time on the phone with IPS as sb who puts in applicants' details into their system input my date of birth incorrectly. I had to send back my documents for correction and an interview letter was issued twice for me. So it delayed my passport by approximately 2 weeks.

Interim Updates: Received a letter from the Durham Office today (04/02/2012) dated 01/02/2012 requesting me to send my son’s Nationality Registration Certificate.

I included Child's UK Birth Certificate and UK Marriage Certificate as advised by the lady at the Post Office who processed my Check and Send application. Even though the Nationality Registration Certificate was included in the list of supporting documents presented at the Post Office, the lady insisted it is not required as I had provided the reference number on the application form.

Phoned IPS on 7th February, 2012 to enquire about the status of application. Informed that Passport has already been printed and should be dispatched by the 8th February.
