You got Approval on the same day of Acknowledgment? unreal , no checks? or did you applied premium service like window?

I am not pointing out or picking up anyone here but these 1 week/2 weeks approvals seem unreal to me when there r people waiting for ages. Rules are/should be same for everyone, If HO is doing extra scrutiny (coz of that famous report on 11 Dec) for one then it should be done for all. OR does anybody have any idea that what is the logic or reason behind not doing it for everyone???

Not sure what's the theory behind their decision making but they haven't contacted any of the referees during the process.

Hi PAK321, I've got the letter on 20th but it has been dated as 13th (Same day they deducted fees) and yes it was really really quick (Not premium , I paid £906 just like the rest)but I know two other people (Friends ) who also got the approval with in two weeks

I applied for citizenship in June 2014, got acknowledgement letter shortly after, Waitied past the 6 month mark Got to december with no responses from HO.. Called and got no joy, mad a complaint and got no reply. Contacted Mp then got an email from HO and letter stating that a decision will be mad in 3 - 6 months. Apparently delay has to do with new recommendations that came about in December. Contacted by Mp's office and told that HO stated that decision will be made in 3 - 5 weeks.. What are these guys playing at.. Telling MP one thing then emailing me another and stating in letter that I should not contact UKVI as they cant help and that they will contact me if necessary,.. Anyone experienced or experiencing this?

You have to be a spouse of a British Subject to apply for naturlization after completing three years residency in the UK, or you will have to hold ILR for a full year before you are able to apply for naturalization. Anyone who came to the UK after 9th July 2012 will have to complete five years before then can apply for ILR, and then they will be able to apply for naturalization.

I take it you meant March.
Depends on the day you Apply. Let's suppose you apply on 10th March then your one year starts for 10 March last year and you must not be outside UK for more than 90 days. And you must be in UK last year on 10th of March.

You must be kidding bro. There are people who are waiting even for 18 months and your being impatient just after 18 days. Keep Calm and ready to wait. You might get it next week or next year, no1 knows.

Omg you're so annoying!! They aren't conspiracy theories with "dodgy approvals" and whatever else you go on about. 18 days and you're complaining? Really?! How about people waiting for months? I've received my approval but I keep coming here as I'm just used to it now and also to help people but all I see is you complaining!! Remember, 6 months is the limit; anything quicker is a bonus. Sit tight and it will come!!

I simply cant imagine that someone got approval in 2 weeks. They cant do any checks in 2 weeks time. I doubt abt two weeks approvals.

It's not one years before . U must be present on the same date either 3 or 5 years ago as there is only 2 options to apply for British citizenship .5 years normally or 3 years as spouse of British .
