I phoned the citizenship team this morning to book ceremony.
They took my name and number and told me I will be contacted by person responsible for arranging ceremonies.
Got a call 5 minutes later and was offered choice of 2 ceremonies in 2 days time........nothing but praise for the Nottingham team who have been extremely efficient from start to finish!

I applied on the 22nd Jan 15 and I'm still waiting, it is disappointing as it seems that many people applied several days after me and already got their approval letter...It doesn't make sense at all, some people get their application approved in less than 3 weeks and others wait more than 6 months...My application is very straightforward.

i applied on 17th dec last year and still waiting for approval, yes it is frustrating to see results coming in 2 weeks but they are more luckiest people than me and i am happy for them. same here my application is also straight forward and one more thing i want to share that these all checks they already done one year ago with my ILR application they took 3 months for all their verifications, now after one year i don't think they doing same verifications again . Any way be optimistic and get ready for good news any day.

Last time when i enter UK via Heathrow Terminal 5 Passport got stamped with date one month in past.
I wrote covering letter explaining this to Immigration Officer along with email copy of British Airway tickets.

I was scared this date issue many not be a blocker.

Query:
I applied for spouse visa from india and still waiting.
It has been 37 working day , SLA for settlement visa 60 working day/
My question is If I go ahead for ceremony ,will wife settlement visa process will be impacted.
Or i should wait for wife visa to get processed.
