I strongly advice you to give it a try as you have nothing to lose. If you call them and they tell you that you're not eligible, that will be a different ball game rather than relying on unfounded and confusing writeups flying all over the internet from individuals and money-grabbing lawyers who are not a staff of the Home Office.Midnight83 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 11:18 amHello,
I’m a non EU citizen, primary carer of a British child. I seem to be reading that this scheme is not for those who currently hold a 2.5 year brp on a 10 year route. Is this a hard a fast rule written anywhere or is it worth to try to go ahead and apply. I’m extremely anxious about having to pay for renewal of my visa late this year as I have absolutely no money for that right now.

The email contained a attachment which declared that I've been granted settled status Indefinite leave to remain.
My application was made as a derivative right chen. primary carer of a EEA national child.
Application made 14/05/2019
application received by HO 15/05/2019
COA received 21/06/2019
settled status granted 06/07/2019
good luck to everyone waiting a response![]()

Biometric card is a requirement to start with.
You need to make a derivative residence application as the main or shared carer of a British child.... the issue here is that u must be someone who can only derive leave from either a British child or a disabled adult...etc
You are a spouse of a British citizen, hence could be ineligible depending on their relationship.
Just saying..
Amen and Thank you. We still praying and hoping that we all receive the good news very soon.

I don't think there was never a guidance for case workers for Zambrano carers. So now they have a guide to refer to and decisions should start shortly.shay007 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 8:34 amCan anyone summarise the difference btw the old and new guidelines pls?Tinumo wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 12:16 amhttps://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... r-guidance
