I am in similar situation . They have received the applications by 30/10/2014. But they have not taken fee yet. Is this usual to delay that long please update anyone who got information. It,s almost 2 weeks now.

Also this site made me a bit worried when I sent my application without a passport of a parent and then I read on here it was expected. The guide doesn't say anything about it and now I can confirm that a passport of a parent is not required.

Hi Mordoklej, did you receive the approval letter and certificate in the same post or on the same day. I am really stuck as have the approval letter but not the certificate.

Deen30!. Congrats. That's unbelievably quick! Did your kid have ILR by any change. I have realised that if the child has ILR, it gets processed very quickly otherwise it is 3 to 4 months.

Exactly 2.5 months for my daughter.. Just received certificate and applied british passport next day using fast track! On website they state fast track appointments are not available for 3 weeks but i told them. i can even go to scotland if they got one.. I need it ASAP .. lady on the phone gave me next day about 10 miles from my home , Thanks to her....

My question: If I apply PIO card for my daughter and travel to Dubai.. my family can send me PIO card in dubai when they get it(in 3-4 wks time) and I can they travel to India from dubai?
